This was from Wiscasset. The Nickels-Sortwell House to be exact. I was having a tough time of it on this house. I tried a watercolor sketch and it is awful. It did not photograph well so I left it out. The writing is a recipe from The Brass Compass in Rockland. I enjoyed their lobster club sandwich, although if I am ever back there I think I would just get some plain seafood. Still, very tasty.
Another one of my favorite sketches. It shows a chandelier from the Great Room and a very odd spiked tool used as decoration.
This is a pencil sketch of the crab claw and a quick drawing of what was left from a long, tapered candle we used every night at dinner.
A bird house and feeder seen from the dining room table and a very quick sketch of an MBK sandwich. It involves potato chips, white bread, and very sharp cheddar. Oddly tasty.
Jason drinking some coffee. Coffee was definitely a staple on this trip.
