Perhaps I will try it. I went really dark on this layer knowing I would go over it with more paint and it would likely pick up some of the black. You have an immense strength in your darks and your building of tone and I cant imagine that you will be able to acheive that on claybord because it lifts so much more. BUT, you are anamazing watercolourist and you may find a new language for claybord and change the world again. Loved seeing you lat the Academy for KRISTEN'S CELEBRATION.
