Thank you so much Elizabeth, I'm glad you enjoyed it :D Marie in the Garden is a lovely painting. Are those not the best days? Sitting outside on a beautiful day. I love paintings that transport the viewer to another time or place. How wonderful would it be to have that painting to look at in the middle of February when the sun hasn't been out for a few months and won't be out for a few more.

That is a great pick Todd. And what a great way to remind yourself that those feelings are not permanent. I usually think about being in the middle of a wave. No matter how big those waves are eventually they land on the shore and are swallowed back into the ocean.

Kelly, I completely understand the love for Starry Night. I used to have a huge print of it. There's a reason it is so well known. A lot of people feel connected to it and isn't that a huge part of what art is about? Communication and connecting with other people?

Peder Severin Kroyer's Marie in the Garden. My eyes can't leave it once I'm in it. I can feel the sunlight and hear the bees and smell the roses. Contentment.

Just found your blog and this was fun!

I would pick The Scream by Edvard Munch. This painting always comes to my mind when I am dealing with mental anguish. I suffer from Bi-polar and Anxiety disorder and I feel as if this painting wonderfully illustrates how I feel when my disorders are at their highest. Picturing this painting helps me to regain control of my mind and focus on controlling my disorders.

Yeah that caravan painting is awesome. He should really make prints for all of us original SOT's. LOL. Hint hint, wink wink.

I would push someone down for one of his sketchbooks. It would look like one of those Real World/Road Rules Challenges.
