Born and raised in a very small town, at the age of 20 Elisha Dasenbrock set off for adventure in the big city of Chicago. After bumming around for a few years she buckled down to follow her dream of becoming an artist at the American Academy of Art. Now a graduate, Elisha is expanding on that dream to become a successful artist.
Technique:
Elisha uses a wet on wet method to apply paint. This is a process used to blend the colors on the paper, it is less predictable and more challenging than other techniques. Elisha also uses layers and glazing to create deep darks that hum with contrast of the white paper.
